On April 18, a handover ceremony at Yihua Mining Co., Ltd. marked the delivery of 36 autonomous mining trucks purchased by China Gezhouba Group Explosive Co., Ltd. from CiDi, further advancing the intelligent transformation of the coal sector.

Equipped with advanced sensors, high-precision positioning, intelligent algorithms, and 5G-based V2X communication, these trucks enable real-time monitoring, autonomous operation, obstacle avoidance, and optimized route planning.

Designed to operate seamlessly alongside manually driven trucks, CiDi’s autonomous mining fleet dynamically adjusts routes and speeds based on real-time conditions. This supports efficient mixed-fleet operations—including automatic lane changes and overtaking—across the entire loading, transport, and unloading process, significantly improving flexibility in complex mining environments.

By deploying these autonomous mining trucks, CiDi is helping mining operations reach new levels of automation and intelligence, enhancing productivity, reducing labor intensity, and strengthening operational safety.
