On June 26, the Hurun Research Institute released its Global Unicorn Index 2025 in Guangzhou. CiDi was once again recognized as one of the world's top unicorn companies, marking its third consecutive appearance on this prestigious list. The Global Unicorn Index, widely regarded as a bellwether for new economy growth and innovation, featured 1,523 unicorn companies across 307 cities in 52 countries and regions this year, with a combined valuation of USD 5.6 trillion--setting a record for the index. In China, unicorns are most concentrated in the fields of semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and new energy. Only four companies from Changsha made the list this year.
