On July 3, Zhiqiang Cao, Vice Governor of People's Government of Hunan Province, conducted a special field visit in Changsha focused on the integration of technological innovation and industrial development. He emphasized the importance of thoroughly studying and earnestly implementing President Xi's important instructions on Hunan's development, adhering to innovation-driven development, strengthening resource guarantees, and accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real productivity.

During the visit, Vice Governor Cao toured several key innovation-driven enterprises in Changsha, including CiDi. He visited the frontlines of R&D, production sites, and product exhibition halls, held in-depth discussions with company leaders and R&D teams, and gained insights into their innovation breakthroughs, product applications, and business performance.

Cao highlighted the need to continuously strengthen the roles of enterprises as principal drivers of scientific and technological innovation. He called for efforts to align with major national strategic needs, leverage Hunan's distinctive advantages, and intensify breakthroughs in core technologies in key fields. He also urged the acceleration of the transformation and industrial application of scientific and technological achievements to foster and develop new productive forces.

Moreover, he emphasized the importance of promoting the application of new technologies and products, precisely responding to market demands, and building demonstrative use-cases scenarios. A sound application ecosystem should be established and continuously improved to facilitate the transition from "usable" to "well-used" technologies, thereby accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading. Government departments at all levels are encouraged to enhance support in terms of policies, platforms, projects, and financial services, creating a favorable environment and providing strong backing to empower high-quality development of enterprises.
