CiDi Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreements with Two Subsidiaries of CNBM, to Scale Autonomous Driving Across Global Mining Projects

On September 19, CiDi signed strategic cooperation agreements separately with two subsidiaries of China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd. (CNBM): Sinoma Mining Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Sinoma Mining") and Sinoma (Nanjing) Mining Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Sinoma Mining Institute"), officially establishing a deep strategic partnership.

 

As their strategic partner in the field of autonomous driving, CiDi will work closely with both companies to accelerate the large-scale deployment of unmanned driving technologies across global mining projects and jointly build an integrated ecosystem for autonomous mining applications.

 

The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives including Hanwu Zhang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sinoma Mining; Fengchuan Shang, Deputy General Manager; Zhiqi Hu, Chief Economist; Guangrong Wang, General Manager of Sinoma Mining Institute; Wei Ma, co-founder and Vice Chairman of CiDi; Zhou Liu, Vice President of CiDi; and Senlin Fang, CiDi's General Marketing Manager at the Smart Mine Business Division.

Additionally, CiDi will assist in retrofitting traditional mining vehicles with autonomous driving capabilities, ensuring rapid deployment, early effectiveness, and lasting impact. Continuous system upgrades will further enhance safety and efficiency in mine operations.
