Ambassador of Indonesia to China Visits CiDi to Advance Cooperation in Intelligent Mobility

On March 10, H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to China, visited CiDi Inc., where he was received by company representatives including Liu Zhou, CiDi Senior Vice President and autonomous driving lead. Discussions centered on cooperation opportunities in intelligent transportation, autonomous mining, and intelligent electric vehicles.

During the visit, H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun delegation reviewed CiDi’s technology roadmap and industrial achievements across autonomous driving, smart transportation, and intelligent equipment. This included firsthand experiencing of cabless autonomous mining trucks, autonomous logistics vehicles, and teleoperated excavators, gaining insight into CiDi’s capabilities in live operating conditions.


In the discussions, CiDi CEO Dr. Albert Hu outlined the company’s development, technology framework, and business strategy. CiDi is scaling the deployment of autonomous driving and intelligent equipment across mining, logistics, and urban mobility scenarios while continuing to expand its international presence.

Ambassador Oratmangun expressed strong recognition of CiDi’s technological achievements and indicated willingness to facilitate the company’s expansion in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia. He highlighted Indonesia’s growth potential in mining, infrastructure, and new energy, noting the country’s focus on innovation and industrial upgrading, and added that CiDi’s technologies could support sector modernization.
