"CES is a global platform where technological innovation and industry come together," Dr. Hu added. "By deepening our collaboration at this moment, we aim to combine CiDi's multi-scenario adaptability with RoboSense's high-performance perception technologies, leveraging scalable deployment of autonomous driving for commercial vehicles through open and collaborative innovation."

Mr. Qiu Chunchao, CEO of RoboSense, echoed this view, noting that the commercial vehicle autonomous driving sector is entering a period of accelerated deployment following key technological breakthroughs. "Over more than six years of collaboration, RoboSense and CiDi have worked closely to advance industry-leading perception solutions, supporting large-scale deployment across autonomous mining trucks, autonomous logistics vehicles, and smart public transportation," Qiu said.

"We will continue to deepen our cooperation. Through high-performance, highly reliable digital sensing solutions, we aim to further enhance the perception capabilities across CiDi's vehicle platforms and jointly support the expansion of autonomous driving into more application domains."

As one of the earliest hard-tech companies in China to independently develop and integrate autonomous driving and V2X technologies, CiDi has long focused on autonomous mining applications. Through early large-scale deployments of pure-electric autonomous mining fleets and mixed-operation mining fleets, the company has accumulated proven operational experience, delivering measurable improvements in safety, cost efficiency, and overall productivity.

Building on this foundation, CiDi continues to expand its autonomous driving portfolio across autonomous mining trucks, autonomous logistics vehicles, V2X intelligent terminals, train autonomous perception systems, and onboard intelligent perception and safety management solutions for commercial vehicles. Together, these offerings support intelligent upgrading across closed industrial parks, mines, border ports, rail transit systems, and smart city environments, enabling scalable and scenario-adaptive deployment of autonomous driving technologies.

In high-risk, closed operational environments, safety and efficiency requirements are particularly stringent, making autonomous commercial vehicles an increasingly critical industry solution. Driven by both technological progress and market demand, autonomous driving applications are rapidly scaling in closed scenarios and are beginning to extend toward broader use cases. According to LeadLeo Research, China's autonomous commercial vehicle market reached RMB 108.8 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow to RMB 1.45 trillion by 2028, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 67.8%, reflecting strong momentum and long-term potential.

As an AI-driven robotics company, RoboSense has achieved significant breakthroughs in full-stack self-developed chips and maintains a leading position in digital perception technologies. The company has established partnerships with more than 310 global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers and provides products and solutions to over 3,400 robotics and industrial customers across 40+ countries and regions worldwide.

As a global bellwether for technological innovation, CES provides a natural backdrop for the deepening of this partnership. Building on this collaboration, CiDi and RoboSense will continue to strengthen technical integration and expand the scope of cooperation, jointly fostering a more competitive autonomous driving ecosystem. Together, the two companies aim to bring safer and more efficient autonomous driving technologies to a wider range of industries, thereby supporting intelligent transformation of commercial transportation and contributing to the evolution of global mobility systems.
