500 Units: CiDi Signs All-Electric Autonomous Mining Truck Deal with Guangna Group
On February 9, Guangna Group signed an agreement to procure 500 all-electric autonomous mining trucks, with CiDi serving as the core autonomous driving system solution provider alongside Tonly, CATL, and Jiangsu Hengwang, thereby supporting the group’s transition toward unmanned, environmentally friendly, and intelligent mining operations.
The agreement is designed to establish full-process, mine-wide autonomous extraction through the deployment of all-electric autonomous mining solutions, thereby accelerating the industry’s transition toward digitalization, intelligent operations, and zero-carbon development. As the technological backbone of the project, CiDi will deliver its full-stack autonomous haulage system to support large-scale, intelligent mining operations.
In December 2025, CiDi’s autonomous mining trucks achieved routine unmanned production operations within a single operating fleet at Guangna Group’s Hulustai mining site in Inner Mongolia. The new 500-unit order reflects Guangna Group’s strong confidence in CiDi’s autonomous driving technology and marks the transition of full-mine autonomous solutions into large-scale commercial deployment.
Guangna Group had previously initiated pilot applications of electric intelligent mining trucks. The decision to procure 500 all-electric autonomous units in a single order therefore represents a decisive step toward scaled deployment and operational transformation. CiDi will continue to advance mine-wide autonomous technologies in support of Guangna Group’s new mining operation mode. The partnership is expected to promote sustainable development across Wuhai and surrounding regions, enhance ecological outcomes, and establish a benchmark for the mining industry’s transformation toward safer, smarter, and zero-carbon operations.
